on bossing up

  • feeling ~*emboldened as fuq*~
  • handled the shit out of a failed attempt at workplace sabotage with incredible calm and professionalism and got hella praise from upper management
  • lol at the bitch who tried to step to this with her ugly shoes 
  • began to amass a work-appropriate wardrobe that does not make me feel frumpy, uncomfortable or boring. (spoiler alert: basic, flattering pieces + scarves and jewelry)
  • threw out a ton of old clothes and kept a few pieces that i’ll attempt to sell to a consignment shop today. wish me luck, mama needs the $$$
